Two International Invitations – Two Major Milestones

Marina Satti has been chosen by both Eurovision and Spotify for two distinct collaborations, confirming her rapidly growing international impact:

Marina returns to the Eurovision stage as a special guest—invited by the EBU and the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation—and simultaneously releases “Fovame” exclusively on Spotify, as part of the Spotify Singles series.

Just one year after her explosive appearance at Eurovision 2024, and just weeks before her headline shows in Athens (Plateia Nerou – June 25) and Thessaloniki (Apollon Kalamarias Stadium – July 2), Marina officially returns to the contest’s stage.

The invitation comes from the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) and the Swiss public broadcaster Swiss Broadcasting Corporation, in a specially crafted act that will be watched by millions across Europe. This is a historic recognition: it marks the first time a Greek artist—aside from Eurovision winner Helena Paparizou—has been officially invited to perform a special act on the Eurovision stage. Social media erupted with praise for the choice, proving that Marina is an artist with genuine international presence.

At the same time, Marina takes part in the global “Spotify Singles” campaign with a Greek rendition of MARO’s Portuguese hit “saudade, saudade,” titled “Fovame.” The recording took place at the Spotify Studios in Stockholm this past March, following an official invitation from Spotify.

Spotify Singles is a series of exclusive recordings launched in 2016 that has amassed over 10 billion streams worldwide. Artists such as Damiano (Måneskin), Kesha, Finneas, Bring Me The Horizon—and now, for the first time—a Greek artist: Marina Satti.

For the session, Marina traveled to Spotify Studios in Stockholm in March, where she laid down her own version, complete with new Greek lyrics and her personal sound.
